Take Advantage of the Latest Technologies and Trends to Add $1,000s to Your Bottom Line — Every Month! —and Beat Out Your Behind-the-Times Competition!

I'm really excited this issue to tell you about a hot new technology I've just released that can literally add thousands of dollars every single month to your bottom line — with almost no extra work for you.

This technology is part of a huge shift that's happening on the Internet right now, and the entrepreneurs who pay attention to this trend are going to leave everyone else in their dust.

You can't just shout at customers and expect them to listen anymore... you've got to become part of their highly personal trusted network so you can whisper the exact messages you want only them to hear...

That's why in this issue I'm going to show you how to:

  • Increase your revenues by 781% by laser-targeting your best potential customers

  • Distribute viral content to grow your list with subscribers who are pre-programmed to trust and respect you

  • Use the latest trends in online video to explode your list and create new profit streams

  • Take advantage of the latest mobile technology to be with your customers everywhere they go

  • Plus use a technology fewer than 1 in 250,000 marketers are currently using to literally LOCK OUT your competition!

Why paying attention to what your teenager is up to could make the difference between a good online business... and an online empire!

Right now the future of the Internet looks a lot like a pack of teenagers.

Just take a look at the nearest group of kids and here's what you'll see:

  • iPods loaded with music they've selected

  • cell phones in constant use for text messaging, sending photos or short video clips to friends, web surfing, and talking

  • wireless laptop computers that can link to the Internet from pretty much anywhere...

And what are those kids doing on their computers?

  • reading new blog posts and special interest sites via RSS feeds

  • watching viral videos their friends send them

  • hanging out at social networking sites with people who share their interests

  • creating their own content and uploading it so other people can see it

Those kids have some things to tell us Internet marketers.

They tell us that people are creating their own personal Web experience.

They're creating networks of trust made up of people, groups, and businesses that they WANT to hear from. They're eliminating what's irrelevant to them, and pulling in ONLY what they're interested in. And they're using a whole array of tools to do this, and a full range of media.

This means that if we want to market to them, we have to become part of their trusted networks and use these same tools and media to give them content they want to see.

And that boils down to one thing: segment, segment, segment!

Increase your revenues by up to 781% by laser-targeting your customers' desires!

According to a recent study from Jupiter Research, segmenting lists based on behavior data — what customers bought, where they clicked on the web site, and other collected information — improved email open rates by 165% and click-through rates by 147% over unpersonalized, untargeted emails. Conversion rates were up 355% and revenues were an amazing 781% higher.

Giving people what they want is the best way to build the kind of trust that shoots the numbers up like that — and as people become even LESS patient with messages and content they don't want, precision targeting will be even more vital.

However, the Jupiter Research study found that only 11% of marketers use this kind of data to segment their list and target their most likely customers!

Improved analytics and metrics are making it possible to collect specific data:

  • where individual visitors are coming from

  • exactly which pages they view

  • which links they click on

That, along with other data you collect from your sales history or analytics reports gives you the tools to give your opt-ins what they want and keep you in their networks.

Grow your list with people pre-programmed to trust and respect you — who WANT to read your messages as soon as they arrive!

With so many marketers out there competing for attention, trust is more important than ever.

That's why viral content has grown... well, virally.

When people pass your content on to others, they're saying that your material is interesting and valuable — and they're showing their friends that you're already part of their trusted network.

Even better, they're sending your content only to people they think would be interested, so they're doing the targeting for you.

Your best chance of having your material go viral is simply to create great material and get it out there — distributing articles to free content sites, writing a blog, recording a podcast, or posting useful information on sites where people get together to exchange information and opinions.

Google Groups, MySpace, Facebook, Xanga, and similar social sites have thousands of groups dedicated to every niche interest you can imagine. So if a blog post or podcast attracts one member, it will likely be referred to whole lists of like-minded people.

Any kind of content can go viral, particularly if you include a "send to a friend" reminder. But while we're talking Internet marketing trends, let's take a look at video, which has gone through rapid and massive growth on the Web.

Build a buzz with video

Free hosting by sites like YouTube, plus the availability of digital video recorders on cameras and mobile phones means literally anyone can create their own videos.

So far, one of the most successful applications of video to Internet marketing has been to offer quality educational content for free (with or without an opt-in) and position it as a limited-time offer.

Viewers watch the video, such as the first part of a 10-part course, and then pass it on to other potential customers.

The more people who see it and recognize the value for their own life or business, the more they will take the next step, and go to your web site and opt in to get the next installment — or buy your product.

How-to videos uploaded to video-sharing sites can also draw targeted audiences. I just spotted one recently — "How to fold a fitted sheet." Don't you think an online bedding store should have done that first?

Plus, once you've created a few videos, you can bundle them together, and instantly have a quick and easy product to sell, so you can add unlimited new profit streams to any existing business!

Mobile is on the move — Act now to get in on a market twice the size of the Internet!

Interested in a market of two billion consumers around the world? Get ready to go mobile!

Those kids I talked about earlier are connected wherever they go — to their network of friends and to the multimedia content they choose. And they're buying.

One report for Enpocket Insight found that permission-based mobile marketing was 50% more effective than TV and 130% more effective than radio.

The key here is "permission based." The marketers who have had success with this group so far have inspired the mobile audience and got them involved. This summer's Starbucks scavenger hunt campaign was a great example. People who opted in got clues via text messaging and could send in answers via text or photos.

If you want to get in on this massive new market you should think about building a new opt-in list — one that includes mobile phone numbers — and looking at ways to adapt your promotions to the interactivity of text messaging.

Cell phone users also surf the Internet, and now there are two new top-level domains for sites with content aimed at mobile phones: .tel and .mobi. It's early days for .mobi and .tel, so take advantage and buy a couple of domain names. Put up simple pages that will look good on a small screen.

You might as well tell those people you're out there and paying attention to them... and get an edge on your competitors before they do the same thing!

Create a direct channel to your best customers' desktops and build trust with your exclusive content!

People are personalizing their Web experience by eliminating what they don't want and pulling in what they do want.

And you can't blame them — I read an article recently in USA Today that said the average consumer is hit with a whopping 3,500 to 5,000 marketing messages every day! That's 3 to 4.5 advertising messages every single minute.

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) was the first technology to allow people to pick and choose the messages they wanted and have only that selected content delivered right to their desktops.

RSS is delivered to a feed reader where all the updates that they've requested show up in one place. It's been around awhile and is starting to grow beyond the bloggers and newshounds who first adopted it.

BUT — as this technology has caught on, it has also started to be abused by marketers and spammers!

According to Technorati, over 792,000 new blogs (which use RSS feeds) are posted to the Web every 24 hours! With that much competition, do you really think YOUR content is being read?

I can't tell you how excited I am to let you in on the secret technology that lets you bypass the challenges of email, blogs, and RSS feeds — and still initiate contact with your best potential customers — for less than $1 a day!

After 18 long months of development and testing, my team has designed a brand-new flexible technology that gives you the ability to send unlimited messages directly to your customers' desktops...

... Using a 100% PRIVATE communication channel that literally locks out your competition!

I don't want to take up too much time here telling you about all the cool — and CRITICALLY IMPORTANT! — stuff this technology can do... I tend to get a little excited when I talk about it (can you tell? ;)

So let me just say that if you have any interest in making thousands of extra dollars every month — and virtually locking out your competition — I highly recommend you check out Desktop Marketer 3.0 here: www.MarketingTips.com/desk-top

Final thoughts

The average Internet user's Web experience is literally flooded with marketing web sites, blogs, email campaigns, and on and on and on.

That's why people are picking and choosing only the content they want to see and finding ways to block out all the extra "stuff" out there that's simply getting in their way and driving them crazy!

They're doing this by building dependable networks of hand-picked resources they trust and respect — which give them exactly what they want in the way they want to receive it.

You become part of these networks by the old standby methods: offering something valuable for free, or being referred or recommended by a trusted source (hardly what you'd call new Internet marketing trends).

What's cool is that new technologies make what you can offer, and how your material gets passed around a lot more exciting!

But you have to take advantage of all the new technologies and strategies while they're HOT. You simply can't wait for your customers to start slowly disappearing before you take action!

Or maybe you've noticed your list is already slowly shrinking — or becoming less responsive? Use the tips and tools I've shared here to win them back and grow your list with the best potential customers you can find.
