And this is only the tip of the iceberg! The fact that we take the HTML which you give us and encrypt it means that an entire encryption scheme would have to be broken in order to view the source of your file! Now that's what we call security! Can you tell we're excited about this?

At this point you may be thinking, "Yeah - that's great... but what about the registration passwords? Can't they be shared?".

Nope! Trust me when I say that we've covered ALL the bases!

You see, the eBook Pro software generates usernames and passwords specific to each individual eBook. How does it work? It's very straightforward....

1. When your customer starts their eBook for the first time, they will have to enter their Username and Password before they can do anything else.
   
   
2. Once they've entered their Username and Password, the eBook will go online and check with the server to make sure their code is valid!
   
   
3. The server will match the Username and Password to the ones you have listed in your database.
   
   
4. If their Username and Password are valid and have not been previously registered, the eBook will unlock and mark the user's account as "active", giving your customer full access to view your publication.
   
   
5. Once the customer has registered the eBook using their Username and Password the maximum number of times, it becomes impossible to share or copy because the registration system will not allow them to register it again.
   
   

Now at this point, you may be thinking to yourself, "These security measures are great for the first time they register, but what if they refund the product later down the road? Or what if they don't make good on their payment?"

There is a simple solution to this (because we're just that good!):

As mentioned earlier, once the eBook has been registered and unlocked, it will randomly check back with your administration site to make sure the user's account is marked "active". So...

If a customer requests a refund or does not make good on their payment, you can simply "disable" their account! When the eBook checks in and sees that the account is no longer marked "active", it will remain encrypted, explaining to the customer why they do not have access to it anymore.

You see, the eBook has been designed to randomly check back with our servers to verify that the user's code is still valid -- this is done automatically. If the user does not happen to be connected online when the eBook attempts to verify the registration, the eBook will wait until an Internet connection IS available. The eBook will then take this opportunity to verify the registration. Because the eBook has already been registered, there will be no need for the end-user to enter their username or password again.

If, for some reason, the end-user continues to use the eBook without going online for an extended period of time, the eBook software will eventually prompt them to connect to the Internet to verify that their registration is still active. They will not be able to open their eBook until they have done so. This will only happen when the user has not connected online for a certain period of time. The eBook Software even warns them that they need to validate, so no one will be caught off guard!

You have total control over your product, even once it's in your customer's hands!
